Codes of conduct to be followed by the students

  1. Every student has to greet respect the teacher and elders willingly, naturally and voluntarily.
  2. On their way to or from school, pupils must remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet members of the school when they meet outside.
  3. School timings is 8:55 A.M to 3:45 P.M.
  4. A student is supposed to enter the school premises before 9:00 in the morning.
  5. Strict decorum is to maintained in and outside the classroom. Student should realize that they are responsible to the school authority not only for their conduct in the school, but also for their general behavior outside.
  6. Every pupil is morally bound to contribute to the high tone of the school, by his/her manner and attitudes. His/Her languages must be decent.
  7. Careful attention must be paid to personal cleanliness and hygiene. The uniform must be clean and neatly pressed, shoes well polished, fingernails short and hair well brushed and combed.
  8. Pupils should help in keeping the school clean and preserving school properties.
  9. A boy student has to have his hair cut very short as army personnel.
  10. A girl student has to plait her hair into two and must wear ribbon. Even if one’s hair is to short to plait into two she has to wear ribbon folding in it to a shape of a flower.
  11. A student has to wear a particular school uniform as specified for particular day. School will provide separate uniform list for daily wear.
  12. Books are to be covered brown; exercise books are not to be covered.
  13. A student has to get his/her diary signed regularly by his/her parents or guardians.
  14. Nail polish, hair dye (colors) and expensive jewelleries are strictly forbidden to wear: unwanted things and, money are forbidden to bring to school.
  15. English is only one lingua franka (medium language) of the school except in Nepali language class.
  16. Students are required to walk in queue making no sound and disturbance to other.
  17. An in-charge, a class teacher or a subject teacher can formulates rules in favor of school’s motto and principle and enforce them in to practice.
  18. 95% attendance is a must to appear in the terminal and final exam.


The co-operation of pupils is of the greatest importance for the efficient working of a library, in the following manner:

  1. The library is essentially a place of quiet and serious study and, as such as, there must be complete silence in the Library at all times.
  2. Newspaper, periodical and magazines are mode available for the students during the Library periods and Tiffin interval.
  3. For senior student’s, a weekly issuing of book is allowed. Junior classes are allowed to read only at school.
  4. Any damaging is to be pointed to the librarian at the time of issue. Fine is charged when a book is lost or damaged or returned after the due date.
  5. Students are invited to make the maximum use of resources and services that the library has to offer.

Physical Fitness

Physical fitness plays n essential role in the overall development of child’s personality and, therefore, forms an important part of school curriculum.


Sports and games are held on the basis of inter-house and inter-school tournaments, according to the list of activities planned for the year. Opportunities are provided throughout the year for the pupils to take an interest and develop their skills by active participation in sports and games.

No student is exempted from physical training and games without a medical certificate that effect.  

Promotion of students

There will be four terminal examinations in the year including the Final Exam. There will be a Unit test (UT) and an open book Unit Test (OBT) before 1st, 2nd and Mid Terms Exams. UT and OBT are taken as separate subjects for mark-sheet entry. The mark of terminal exams and other test are added proportionately for the final evaluation and promotion system. Subject teachers are encouraged to run other tests and exams for formative and continuous evaluation. Students must pass the final examination to be promoted to the higher class.


 Physical Rules and Regulations.

  1. Tuition fee (and lodging fee for boarders) and the bus fee are charged for 12 months.
  2. If the fees are not paid by the 10th of each Nepali month, a fine of 5% will be charged.
  3. No reduction in tuition fees or any other fees will be made for any short or extended absence by the student.
  4. Report card will be withheld till all accounts are fully settled. No transfer Certificate will be issued if there are any dues owing to the school.
  5. Fees are not paid for 2 month will result a student’s name being automatically deleted from the register. A student for more than one month will have his/her name struck off the rolls if no prior written information is given.
    Re- admission in this case is not guaranteed and can only be possible if there is any seat available.
     Parents wishing to withdraw their children from the school during the year should provide the school with TWO MONTHS PRIOR NOTICE in writing. Failure to do so will result in the security deposit being forfeited.  One month’s prior notice (without the forfeiture) will be entertained only in the last month of the academic year. Boarders wishing to become day scholars in the middle of the session should also give two months prior notice.


  1. The bigger children should let the small children sit.
  2. No one should get down anywhere else but at his/her own stop. If for any reason they have to get down to another stop or are not going straight home, they should take permission from the principal, and both their parents (mother and father) should know in advance.
  3. Students using the bus should not fight or jump about in the bus or create any sort of trouble.
  4. As far as possible, the girls should sit with girls and the boys with the boys. The big girls may keep the small girls in their laps if there is a shortage of space.
  5. As the bus gets empty after dropping the children, the children should keep moving to the front of the bus. No one should sit alone at the back of the bus.
  6. Students using the bus should not mix or joke with the conductor. Alternatively, if he jokes with trouble others especially the girls, the principal should be informed immediately.
  7. Students are found breaking any of the above mentioned bus rules will at first be disallowed to use the bus for sometimes. A second time offense will result in the student being permanently disallowed to use the bus. Remember, we want your journey to and from school to be safe and comfortable one. Anyone found putting himself or anyone else at risk will be dealt with accordingly.
  8. If the bus comes very late to your stop, you must phone and find out why.


  1. Kindly make necessary arrangements to take your child/ward home promptly after the school hours. Those who travel by school bus should be picked up at the designated Bus stop.
  2. Necessary arrangements must to made so that the children are punctual and do not disturb the routine of the school.
  3. No student is allowed to avoid assembly under any circumstances.
  4. The school does not accept any responsibility for books, clothes, money and other articles that are lost by children.
  5. All account of the previous year must be settled in full before a pupil returns to the school for a new academic session. If dues are not settled, the pupils will not be allowed to rejoin.
  6. School holidays will be as specified in the school calendar.
  7. No child is allowed to remain in the classroom that belongs to other classes during their recess.
  8. When student are moving along the corridor, while changing classes or going to the Library, Laboratory etc. they must walk in silence and give first preference to the teachers.
  9. No undesirable books or articles are to be bought inside the school premises.
  10. Any damage or disfigurement done in or about the school premises must be made good by the parents of the child concerned.
  11. All should take honest pride in keeping the school clean. Be very careful during the recess not to litter the school ground with paper, fruits peel etc. Use should be made of the waste-paper baskets and the bin provided for the purpose.
  12. No fine of any kind or collection for any purpose, whatsoever, can be made without the previous sanction of the school management.
  13. All pupils must possess a copy of the school diary, which is to be brought on all school days.
  14. Pupils are not allowed to visit to staff room without teacher’s permission.
  15. If a student leaves the school anytime during the continuity of a session, he/she is required to pay whole session.


A normal school day starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m. Children are expected to be in the school by 9:05 a.m. Latecomers will either be sent home or detained after school.

All are requested to be punctual for the assemblies.

Pupils must return to their class promptly after the recess, so as not to lose any time.

No pupil is permitted to leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the principal.



  1. Students should attend the school regularly.
  2. No leave of absence is generated except for a genuine reason. Application for leave should be referred to the class teacher.
  3. Late arrivals after the vacation are liable to have name struck off the register.
  4. Pupils, who are diagnosed to be suffering from or exposed to infectious diseases, will not be allowed to attend the school unless they bring doctor’s certificate stating that the period of quarantine is over.
  5. If a child continues to be absent for one month without permission, his/her re-admission shall be subject to the decision of the school management.
  6. Students willing to leave the school premises of the school during the course of a day will have to obtain a written permission from the principal.
  7. If a child detained in the school during the course of a day, a written reason will be given in the diary. The parents should not accept any oral excuse for coming home late.
  8. The attendance will be taken at the beginning of the first period and the diaries will be signed at the end of the class hours by the class teachers. Those who are not present will be marked absent.

Irregular attendance and unjustified or unexplained absence for more than a week can lead to the call for the dismissal of a student.


  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in keeping up with the school standard, by ensuring that their children prepare the given lesson regularly and take active and helpful interest in the activities of the school.
  2. Parents are informed that occasional remarks are made by the teachers in the school diary. They are requested to sign as a proof that they have read the same.
  3. Parents are expected to collect their children’s exam report personally on the stipulate dates. Report card will not be issued on the other days.
  4. If a pupil is likely to be absent due to illness for a long period, the school authority must be informed within a week.
  5. Parents/Guardians are not allowed to see the children or interview teachers during school hours, without the permission.
  6. The homework diary is to be signed daily by the parents or guardian (in case of a boarder, by hostel incharge) as a proof that the child has done his/her homework.
  7. Parents/Guardians are requested to clear the fees/dues by the 10th of every month, after which a mandatory fine will be charged.
  8. Fees including the admission charge, once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.



  1. To help the school in ensuring that the students behave decently within as well as outside the school premises.
  2. To help in getting the student properly lined up for assemblies.
  3. To help maintaining the English speaking environment in the school.
  4. To help in checking if the students are in full, proper and clean uniform or not.
  5. To help during the breaks to ensure that the student do not throw the waste paper /things around , do not create any unpleasant sense; do not break the line to get eatables from school canteen.
  6. To help in organizing various inter-house and inter-school events/ programmes.
  7. To help in identifying the week as well as talented students of different classes.
  8. To maintain the silence and order inside the class when there is no teacher.
  9. To attend to the guests/visitors in the absence of any school staff around.
  10. To plan and undertake the campaign and various programmes from time to time.
  11. To inform the office about lost and found belongings of the students.
  12. To report the administration genuine grievances as well as meaningful suggestions of the students related to the betterment in academic standard.


  1. Students are not allowed to bring any other item to the school without the prior permission of their hostel warden or matron.
  2. Parents are requested to send the complete set of uniforms and other items of clothing as mentioned in the prospectus. Every item of clothing should have a name tag stitched on to it. Where this is not possible, as in the case of shoes, the child's name should be written in indelible 'marker' ink.
  3. One set of school uniform has to be purchased from the school. This set will be used for special occasions only, where absolute uniformity in dress is a must, as in the case of inter-school competitions etc.
  4. Children are not allowed to wear clothes that are short, faded, worn out or shabby. Uniforms should be in very good condition or new.
  5. Parents can provide Rs. 20/- per month as pocket money to their wards. Any extra money found in any child's possession will be confiscated. Parents are therefore requested not to give the child any extra money or food.
  6. Parents are requested to note that they may visit then wards only on the visiting days mentioned in the calendar between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  7. Students may go home on visiting days only between 5:00 p.m. Et 7:30 p.m. Students going home on visiting days should return to school on the reporting days or on the day the school reopens before 7:00 a.m. Proper school uniform should be worn, both when going home & returning to the school. Children are not allowed to take home or bring to school, any clothes, when going home for weekends.
  8. Authorized Guardians of the child will only be allowed to visit the child or take him/her on holidays.
  9. Parents coming to collect their children for the weekend should:-
    a) Collect their child's report card. 
    b) Pay the fees for the month (in advance). 
    c) Collect the programme for the following month.
  10. Parents who have any complaints, suggestions or recommendations to make regarding their children's health, the food in the school, their children's performance in studies or anything else, are free to meet the concerned teachers, Incharge or the Principal and discuss their complaints or suggestions.
