Radiant Readers Academy is all set to conduct its much-anticipated School Election 2082 on Jestha 04, Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The school is buzzing with excitement as students prepare to take part in a democratic process that not only fosters leadership but also teaches the values of responsibility, cooperation, and civic engagement.

The school administration has officially announced the list of nominees for various student leadership roles. In the senior category, the position of School Head Boy has two strong contenders: Samir Budathoki and Amrit Kumar Sharma. Competing for the title of School Head Girl are Saisa Lamichhane and Drishya Lamichhane. These students have already begun their campaigns with enthusiasm, delivering speeches, designing posters, and reaching out to their peers to present their ideas and vision for a better school environment.

On the junior side, the race for Junior Head Girl includes five nominees: Sichu Maharjan, Priyashi Karna, Neena Lama, Gresi Rajbhandari, and Supriya Chaudhary. Meanwhile, Sworup Krishna Maharjan, Kaushal Khadka, and Pranay Shahi are in the running for the position of Junior Head Boy. Each of these candidates is showcasing their leadership potential and dedication through active participation in school activities and campaign efforts.

In addition to these key positions, the school election will also determine Vice School Head Boy and Girl, House Captains and Vice Captains for all four houses, Cultural Secretary and Vice Cultural Secretary, as well as Senior and Junior Sports Captains. Furthermore, the election includes leadership roles for captains of various school clubs, including the Science Club, Literature Club, Eco Club, Art Club, IT Club, and several others. These positions provide students with opportunities to lead initiatives, coordinate events, and work collaboratively to enhance the school’s extracurricular environment.

Vice Principal Mr.Dev Raj Gelal expressed his thoughts on the importance of the election, stating, “This election is not just about selecting leaders; it is about empowering students to raise their voices, take responsibility, and work collectively for a better school community.” He also emphasized that such democratic practices play a crucial role in shaping confident, responsible, and ethical citizens.

To ensure a fair and transparent election process, the school has formed an Election Committee composed of teachers and senior students. Voting will be conducted through paper ballots, with vote counting scheduled to begin immediately after the polls close at 3:00 PM on election day.

As campaigning continues in full swing, the school environment is alive with energy, creativity, and friendly competition. Posters decorate the hallways, campaign slogans echo in classrooms, and students eagerly engage in discussions about their preferred candidates.
