Students of Grades 5 and 6 recently participated in engaging hands-on learning activities designed to make learning both fun and practical. These activities focused on giving students a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and creative exploration.

In Grade 5, students explored the practical knowledge of science using the Karkhana kit. They performed an interactive activity on solids, liquids and gases, where they observed and experimented with different materials to understand their properties and behaviors. Through this hands-on approach, students were able to connect theoretical concepts from their textbooks to real-life experiences, enhancing their curiosity and scientific thinking. The activity encouraged them to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions, fostering critical thinking and a love for science.

Meanwhile, Grade 6 students enjoyed a creative and educational activity in Art with Light. This hands-on session allowed them to explore how light interacts with different materials, shapes, and colors. Students experimented with shadows, reflections and transparency, combining artistic creativity with scientific observation. The activity not only encouraged imagination but also helped students understand fundamental concepts of light in an enjoyable and interactive way.

Such hands-on activities reflect a commitment to experiential learning, where students actively participate and engage with concepts rather than learning passively. These experiences help develop analytical thinking, creativity, and practical understanding, preparing students to apply knowledge effectively in both academics and everyday life.

Through these sessions, students not only gain academic knowledge but also learn to enjoy the process of discovery, making learning a joyful and meaningful experience.
