Radiant Readers Academy celebrated Friendship Day with excitement and happiness as students from Foundation to Grade 2 gathered in Block A on the school ground for a memorable event filled with love, laughter, and fun.
The celebration aimed to help young learners understand the value of friendship through enjoyable group activities. Students were engaged in specially planned games that not only entertained them but also promoted sharing, bonding, and joyful interaction.
One of the most popular highlights of the day was the musical gift-passing game. In this activity, students sat together in a circle and passed a wrapped gift to one another while music played in the background. When the music stopped, the child holding the gift got to open and keep it. The game created excitement and cheerful anticipation, as everyone hoped the music would pause on their turn.
Another engaging game was designed for the second group of students, where a lucky draw method was used. Numbers were written on slips of paper, folded, and placed into a box or container. Each student came forward one by one to pick a folded paper at random. After opening the paper, they received the gift that matched the number written on it. The game, full of suspense and curiosity, made every child feel special and eager to discover their surprise.
In addition to the games, students celebrated the occasion by tying colorful friendship bands on each other’s wrists. This small act of affection symbolized love, respect, and unity among classmates. It was a beautiful sight to see the children smiling, sharing, and appreciating their friendships.
The celebration concluded with group photo sessions, where students proudly displayed their gifts and friendship bands. These photos captured the pure joy and memories of a day that was all about love, fun, and connection.
